Growing up, books and stories offered me an escape when the real world felt too complicated. Spending a few hours in another character’s world was often easier than navigating my own.

In eighth grade, a particularly insightful teacher encouraged me to join a teen writing group at my local public library. Over the next two years, I learned the foundational aspects of storytelling and honed my writing skills. The library published two volumes of creative writing and multiple issues of the workshop’s newsletter.

After high school, I pursued a career in massage therapy, and writing took a backseat. I’ve maintained an independent blog about massage therapy since 2020 and recently contributed as a chapter reviewer for a trade ethics book.

I am a newcomer to BeeBalm Arkansas, my local writer's workshop which meets at least twice a month.

In April 2025, the urge to revisit a long-shelved project became irresistible. Since then, I’ve completed two rounds of draft edits on what I hope will be my debut novel, As Far As It Goes. I am currently seeking Beta Readers and planning to submit to literary agents and publishers in Spring/Summer 2026.
